Oil on washi paper 10 cm x 15 cm $180.00 USD On Hold
On a trip this summer, I found lovely handmade washi paper at a small art & stationery shop. Its warm texture felt soothing, and I couldn't wait to create something with it :) I applied acrylic gesso and painted with oils. The brushwork was surprisingly smooth, and it was so much fun to paint. To match the paper's natural feel, I created three bird paintings in soft pastel tones.
